A passion for wood – through generations
It all began back in 1978, in the small village of Älvsered, when four partners – including Alf Karlsson – decided to start a planing mill: Panel & List i Älvsered AB. The idea was simple yet powerful: to refine Swedish wood with knowledge, craftsmanship, and respect.
When Alf retired in 2020, the next generation took over: Mica Pettersson, Thom Karlsson, Maja Karlsson, and Charlie Axell. The first three are Alf’s children, with Maja as a passive owner.
Since then, we have continued to plane, saw, and refine – always driven by the same passion: a love for wood.
Today, with new energy and expertise, we carry the company forward. Our history and experience remain, but the future we shape together with our customers.
From Älvsered to Europe
We are passionate about wood and craftsmanship, and our greatest focus is always customer satisfaction – both in quality and price. Today, our products reach customers across Europe. Whether it’s a local builder or an international distributor, our goal is always the same: to deliver high-quality wood products that truly satisfy the customer.
We grow with our customers. We evolve with the market. But we never forget where we come from – a small village in Halland, where the love for wood is stronger than anything else.
