Sustainability & Responsibility
We are proud to be certified according to both PEFC and FSC. This means that our timber comes from sustainably managed forests and that we guarantee responsible handling throughout the entire chain – from forest to finished product. Our environmental policy is a natural part of our work, and we constantly strive to minimize our impact on nature while contributing to a sustainable society.
Environmental Policy
As wood processors and users of forest raw materials, we carry a great responsibility. We work to ensure that our operations are conducted in a way that is gentle on both the environment and our employees.
We follow applicable legislation and comply with the requirements and intentions of PEFC (PEFC/05-32-7/V0966) and FSC (FSC-C089427). We also ensure that our raw materials do not come from:
- Illegal logging
- Forests where human rights are violated
- Forests with threatened conservation values
- Genetically modified trees
- Natural forests cleared for plantations or non-forest land use
We also support the ILO core conventions on:
- No child labor
- No forced labor
- No workplace discrimination
- Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
Our goal is to continually reduce the environmental impact of our operations and increase the share of raw materials from certified, sustainable forestry.
We take responsibility – for our employees, for society, for the environment, and for our partners. That is why we continuously train and inform our staff, ensuring that together we live up to these requirements and values.
